France and Spain joined America mainly because they hated Britain and because of revenge. France joined after America proved themselves able to fight in a war and Spain joined after France joined so it was a 3 VS 1.

At Valley Forge General George Washington and his crew faught through a tough and difficult winter. His soilders were cold, starving, and barley making it through. Although all of this they survived to live another day. All thanks to Washington's motivation!

Judith Murray of Massachusetts argued that women minds are as good as men. They packed their belongings and sold whatever they could. To prove there loyalty to Britain, some loyalists spied and informed on the patriots. Loyalists who remained in the U.S faced different times.
